Thank you for taking the time to learn about Marshall and Me!
This is the second and last year that I'll be showing my own steer at the Citrus County Fair in March of 2026. I'm excited to help out and do the best that I can, and I'm here to introduce myself and my steer Marshall!
I was honored, at 13 years old, to be trusted with the care of several beautiful animals - and I learned so much!
My freshman year Agriscience Foundations 1 allowed me to interact with the animals at the school farm.
I joined the Lecanto Senior FFA in my sophomore year, where I was able to show our chapter steer during fair week of 2024.
I purchased my show steer, Clifford, locally here in Citrus County, and I'm incredibly excited to show him during fair week.
Fair week came to an end on auction night, where I sold Clifford to JM Gibson Mechanical! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Gibson!
I bought Marshall after searching for a few months, and was so excited to have him as my own.
I started the halter breaking process immediately after buying, by earning his trust and creating a friendship with lots of pets and treats.
I'm looking forward to showing Marshall in the County Fair, and hoping to have another successful auction night this year!
If you are a new or previous buyer looking for more information about the buying process or my steer, Marshall, feel free to Contact Me , I'd love to tell you all about him or provide you with buying info. You can also visit Marshall's about page or find Buyers' info here .
Marshall is an Angus Simmental, and the last steer I'll purchase for a show. Below is a short summary of the first few months that I have had him.
Shortly after the 2025/2026 school year began in August, I sought out my search for my senior year steer, in Citrus County.
In September of 2025, I bought Marshall after first glance.
Weigh in day at the fairgrounds was a success! While he was stubborn, he did make weight at a respectable 610 LBS.
Marshall continues to grow and gain weight each week. He is progressing with learning to walk with me and with his posturing for judging.
